382 Graduate From EMVTC Remera in Gasabo

The sun beat down on the hundreds of parents, siblings and friends attending EMVTC Remera in Gasabo commencement ceremonies on Friday.

At least 382 students of EMVTC Remera have received certificates after successfully completing training in auto mechanics.

As the graduates marched onto the field, their families cheered and applauded. Principal Nshimiye Jacques, pointed out that the students are well equipped to compete favorably in the field.

 “Skills and academic knowledge without character can’t take you anywhere. You must be honest and truthful in all you do, especially your careers. Endeavour to be agents of positive change wherever you go, said Nshimiye.

He further advised them to create their own jobs since they are now equipped with knowledge and skills, instead of waiting to be employed.

Uwineza Aline, one of the students who graduated in Computer Science, said he had been equipped with excellent skills and knowledge.

“I can compete with other students from the best schools in the country. I have been able to work with many good organizations during my practical internship” Uwineza.

She praised the school for always going an extra mile to impart the best of knowledge and skills besides getting them internship placements.
